Our top ‘all round’ dry fly for when the fish are looking up. The brown body is suggestive of a mayfly, while the hopper legs are more imitative of a terrestrial insect.
The deer hair hackle also gives the fly excellent buoyancy, allowing it to be pulled across the top when there is a bit of chop on the water. Whatever the situation, this fly gets eaten!
