Whether you're new to fly fishing or looking to improve aspects of your technique, our upcoming learn to fly fish workshops provide a comprehensive introduction to fly fishing including personalised guidance on getting started with fly fishing. We will be covering everything you need to know from casting, fly selection and various fishing techniques we use.
Targeted at both beginner and intermediate anglers, the experienced Trout Tales Tasmanian fishing guides will provide valuable advice to help get you started in fly fishing. The learn to fly fish workshops also feature a delicious lunch sourced with local produce from the 28 Gates farm.

Dates: Our upcoming workshops are scheduled for the 14th of October (full), 18th of November (full), and 16th of December (full).
Cost: Each workshop is priced at $299 per person excluding GST.
Group Size: Each workshop is limited to 8 participants to ensure a personalised and immersive learning experience.
Location: The workshops are held at the picturesque 28 Gates Farmstay, just 45 minutes from Hobart in the Derwent Valley.
